DO YOU OFFER GROUPON?

I do offer Groupon! It is for first time clients only. Groupon does take a very large percentage of profits from all of their vendors this is why I only allow for one time use starting January 1st of 2022. I can honor the price at checkout without you having to purchase through Groupon. Just please let me know at checkout that you intended to purchase the Groupon. If you are looking to save some $$$ even after your first session, I do offer discounts, memberships, along with occasion specials! Subscribe to our email list & be the first to know what our monthly specials are! If you are wanting a mobile appointment, the travel fee will still apply on top of the discounted price.

DOES MY CARD GET CHARGED WHEN BOOKING?

When booking, you must insert your card information. This is to ensure your appointment time. Your card only gets charged in the event of a late cancellation (within 24 hours of appt) or no show. We can use this card for your service payment offering a safe, contactless payment.

HOW FAR DO YOU TRAVEL?

Golden Hour Tan is based out of northeast San Antonio, 78266. Anything outside of a 5-mile radius, will have a fee of $1 per mile.

If you are hosting a tan party with multiple people at your home or location, travel fees can be split between clients at the same location! Parties of 5 or more are waived the travel fee.

I'M GOING AWAY, SHOULD I GET A SPRAY TAN?

Spray Tans are perfect for vacations. It allows you to go with a glow! Many clients get a tan for this reason! Keep in mind in mind if you're going to be in a sand & water, make sure to rinse off with fresh water & make sure to moisturize daily. Wear SPF!

HOW DO POOLS & HOT TUBS EFFECT MY TAN?

Water acts an exfoliant to your spray tan. When interacting with water, you want to make sure you rinse off with fresh water & moisturize daily to keep your tan looking fresh.

The dreadful question, & everyone's biggest fear.

WILL A SPRAY TAN PROTECT ME FROM THE SUN?

Spray tans have ZERO spf protection. Please make sure you use an oil free sunblock to protect your skin & tan! I suggest Sun Bum or South Seas sunblock.

WHEN SHOULD I BOOK THE SPRAY TAN?

Book the tan 2 days before your event. As soon as you know you have an event coming up book the tan immediately. This allows for you to get optimum timing for your lifestyle.

WHAT SHOULD I DO ABOUT WORKING OUT?

When working out with a tan, you want to make sure pat dry your sweat, rinse off after the gym immediately. Tight clothing will cause more friction which will result in losing your tan faster, drinks LOTS of water and moisturize daily after each shower. Please do not work out during your processing time.

WHAT PRODUCTS DO YOU RECOMMEND?

We recommend clean products that are spray tan safe. Stay away from products that contain mineral oil, sulfates, parabens & petroleum jelly substances that may break down your tan. Do NOT use ANY Dove products. I do retail both pre & post care, tan safe products so there is no question or having to make an extra trip to the store.

Tree Hut - to exfoliate before your appointment

CeraVe - body wash, face wash & lotion

Shea Moisture - body wash & lotions (without exfoliating properties)

SunBum - for sunscreen
